The report examines the rise of online grocery shopping in the US, revealing that about one in five households currently do grocery shopping online at least once a month. The majority of shoppers are female, aged 15-24, non-Hispanic White, married or partnered, with young children, more educated, income ineligible for SNAP benefits, or frequently do grocery shopping in their households. Pickup and delivery options are chosen almost equally, and time constraints are the main reason for online shopping.
